Quality Assurance Project Plans

Projects that involve data collection or laboratory analysis require preparation and approval of a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) prior to initiation of data collection or sampling activities. QAPPs specify procedures for sampling and analysis and must be approved by the NHEP and EPA. For overall guidance and information on QAPPs and their preparation, visit the EPA website. To read approved QAPPs from previous projects go to the NHEP Quality Assurance Project Plan webpage. For specific questions on QAPPs related to NHEP projects, contact Phil Trowbridge, NHEP Coastal Scientist.
